Entrepreneurship Institute

Entrepreneurship Institute aims to be a fundamental component and a key supporter of the national economy, particularly in the field of knowledge-based products. It seeks to achieve this by building a comprehensive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship that serves innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists, and researchers both within and outside King Saud University. The institute also strives to enhance knowledge exchange locally and globally while fostering collaboration and integration with various commercial and industrial sectors in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. The institute consists of three main centers that work in harmony to provide comprehensive support to innovators and entrepreneurs.

Misk 500 MENA Accelerator Program

500 Startups is partnering with Misk Innovation to launch an accelerator program that will begin on January 27, 2019. Our team of growth hackers, investors, and mentors will be coming to MENA for 16 weeks to impart knowledge on 15-20 hand-selected startups.

Misk Innovation and 500 Startups will together help accelerate innovation and entrepreneurism by bringing Silicon Valley growth techniques to a batch of young MENA-based companies, helping them scale and fundraise.

The Misk 500 MENA Accelerator will be open to MENA-based pre-seed and seed technology startups.

Business Incubator & Accelerator Company BIAC

BIAC was established in 2017 and it’s a subsidiary of the Saudi Technology Development and Investment Company (TAQNIA ), which in turn, is wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF). BIAC provides enablers to support both the public and private sectors in creating and developing innovative solutions through extensive expertise in innovation and shared services. Our aim is to contribute to the growth of companies by employing best practices and modern methodologies.

Ebram

Ebram Al-Aamal is one of the first entities licensed as a co-working space, business incubator, and accelerator in the Madinah region. It is committed to meeting various requirements related to the operation and development of enterprises through an integrated business environment that emphasizes professionalism, fosters collaboration, and facilitates the launch of ventures for both companies and individuals. This is achieved by providing multi-use facilities, comprehensive support services, as well as development programs and consultancy services targeting various sectors and audiences, all contributing to the finance and business sector.

Sahabat Al Imam

University-based incubator, part of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University. The incubator provides its services to current university students and alumni.

Saudi Aramco - Entrepreneurship

Incubation:
Wa’ed established its own business incubator, StartUp Lab, to provide incubation support for early-stage businesses. StartUp Lab is a space designed to house startup companies and provide them with a range of services such as training and mentorship in addition to office space and amenities.

Training:
Wa’ed offers workshops in several disciplines designed to provide the know-how and necessary skill-set sought out by early stage startups, entrepreneurs, and those with potential ideas. These workshops include Business Plan formulation, Pitching, Ideation, and Business Model Canvas.

Funding:
Funding offerings include debt funding in the form of non-collateral loans, venture capital funding offering minority equity partnerships, and non-repayable micro-funding “Seed Fund” for incubated startups.
