H.E. Dr. Nabeel Koshak is the Founder and Chairman of Athaal. He is the former Founding Dean of Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College (MBSC) of Business and Entrepreneurship at King Abdullah Economic City. Nabeel is the former President of Al-Baha University and the former Vice President for Business and Innovation of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU). He is the Co-Founder and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Makkah Company (Seed Fund, Startup Accelerator, and Venture Capital). He is a Member of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). Koshak is a Member of the Executive Committee of King Faisal International Prize. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of Oqal (Angel Investors Network) Jeddah branch and a mentor at Flat6Labs Jeddah Startup Accelerator and Endeavor Saudi Arabia.
Nabeel is the former Director of King Abdulaziz City for Since and Technology (KACST) GIS Technology Innovation Center. He is the Co-Founder and former General Supervisor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute at UQU. Nabeel is the former Chairman of Board of Directors of Transportation and Crowd Management Innovation Center.
Nabeel was an Associate Professor conducting research at the Hajj and Umrah Research Institute, while teaching courses at the College of Engineering and Architecture at UQU for 15 years.
As an entrepreneur, Koshak was the Founder and CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of three leading tech startups.
Nabeel received an Executive Education from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in "Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program" and "Management, Innovation, Technology" in 2017, a PhD in Computational Design from the School of Architecture, Carnegie Mellon University in 2002, a Master of Architecture (Computing in Design and Planning) from the University of Colorado in 1997, and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from UQU in 1993.

I'm also very interested in CSR, social entrepreneurship and volunteering services. I have a Master's degree in Business Administration with marketing concentration from the University of San Francisco (Forbes Top 20 in entrepreneurship).
