The two-year intensive MBA program at Harvard gave me deep understanding and skills across many business areas, especially in strategy and competitive analysis, leadership and global markets dynamics. In 2017, I decided to accelerate my career development and growth and gain accountability and decision making experience and exposure. I joined Careem, as a GM, in a leadership position with P&L and team responsibility. A year ago, I found an opportunity in Sarahah (sarahah.com), the internet startup, to help build a Saudi global internet venture with hundreds of millions of users. I focused on building the business. As a partner responsible for all commercial, financial and organizational work, I gained firsthand experience in starting a business and overcoming its challenges.
