Universities are an an essential part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. They have a fundamental role in supporting innovation, establishing science-based business. In addition, universities can play a significant role in enabling resource access, providing the necessary training and education, spreading entrepreneurial culture. In order to fulfill these roles, the supporting bodies must be present. In addition, there is a need of having supporting legal systems that encourage innovation and protect patents and intellectual properties.
