Nora is currently leading the International Strategic Partnerships team at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) in addition to her role as Vice President of the Social Responsibility Committee. Prior to joining SIDF, Nora worked at Aramco handling various responsibilities and projects related to New Business Development, Business Planning, Corporate Strategy and Performance Management.
Nora is very passionate about developing the SME ecosystem in Saudi Arabia by advising entrepreneurs in order to explore growth opportunities, address problem areas in businesses and help establish a clear vision of how to get ahead. Furthermore, she has experience in originating joint ventures between leading international companies, initiating and maintaining strategic international partnerships, mergers and acquisitions as well as driving and enabling innovation as she led the an innovation committee during her service at Aramco previously.
Nora also participated in executive education and professional development programs at recognized institutions such as Stanford University.
Alaa is responsible for the investment portfolio at Malaz Capital. He has graduated in accounting in 1997 from King Fahd University. He started his career in auditing and corporate banking. He then completed an MBA from the University of Lancaster and moved to the field of private banking and investment advisory. Alaa also worked in leadership positions in regional investment firms and family businesses. Halfway through his career, Alaa started advising on investment and succession issues with particular focus on governance and conflict resolution. Before spending a period of time as independent advisor and wealth manager, he worked in one of the big-4 as head of business development. Alaa is the first Saudi to be awarded the Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom, a degree that helps him in evaluating and improving the performance of the baords and spreading awareness about governance and independence directorship. Alaa dedicate time and effort to support entrepreneurs, empower women and enhance the public services available to people with special needs.
Ahmed works with 500 Startups as Head of country operations in Saudi Arabia, investing in seed-stage startups and fundraising from investors. He received his MBA-Finance from Cornell University- Johnson Graduate School of Management
