Haider Alabdulaal is a corporate planning and strategy consultant at the Ministry of Energy-Saudi Arabia, with a focus on policies and strategic decision support. Haidar started his career at Landmark Software before joining Saudi Aramco, where he assumed several positions in different key upstream departments within the Upstream Business Line. Later, he shifted to the public sector by joining the Ministry of Economy and Planning-Center for Strategic Development. Haider holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering (Honor), from Colorado School of Mines and an M.S. from Texas A&M University. Furthermore, Haidar obtained executive education from Babson College in finance and earned his valedictorian MBA from MBSC where he scaled his family business and co-founded a legal service startup (Qantooni); a digital legal service that provides quick, affordable, innovative, and reliable legal solutions and services in Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Al Besher conceived of FinTech Saudi while following an impressive career path has led her to such roles as leader of a Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) program to develop Saudi expertise in information security, Human Resources and Administration Director of SADAD Payment Systems and, finally, member of the FinTech Committee at SAMA. She has shepherded FinTech Saudi from initial conception to full reality, managing the approvals process, designing the event with a well-defined and focused scope of activity and building a team to bring the event to full fruition. Ms. Al Besher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, a Master’s Degree in Management from The Catholic University of America and she was a participant in the Executive Program in Management & Leadership at London Business School.
Dr. Fahad is a Senior Consultant in CyberSecurity/Assurance, Digital Innovation and blockchain Technologies. Over the past 12 years, he has participated & been hired as a senior consultant and project manager at several firms and governmental agencies. The combination resulted in expertise not limited to: 1) Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship, 2) Blockchain Technologies & Services, 3) IT Governance & Compliance, and 4) CyberSecurity Management & Operations. He, also, serves as an active researcher & Assistant Professor at the College of Computer and Information Technology at Shaqra University (SU). Dr. Alruwaili teaches bachelor degree courses in computer science and network engineering, as well as supervises graduation and research projects in cybersecurity, digital transformation, cloud computing, & risk management. He has been with SU since 2012 & achieved his doctoral degree in computer engineering specialized in cloud security, privacy, and compliance, early 2016. Dr. Fahad is available for mentoring, advisory & consulting opportunities.
Alaa is responsible for the investment portfolio at Malaz Capital. He has graduated in accounting in 1997 from King Fahd University. He started his career in auditing and corporate banking. He then completed an MBA from the University of Lancaster and moved to the field of private banking and investment advisory. Alaa also worked in leadership positions in regional investment firms and family businesses. Halfway through his career, Alaa started advising on investment and succession issues with particular focus on governance and conflict resolution. Before spending a period of time as independent advisor and wealth manager, he worked in one of the big-4 as head of business development. Alaa is the first Saudi to be awarded the Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom, a degree that helps him in evaluating and improving the performance of the baords and spreading awareness about governance and independence directorship. Alaa dedicate time and effort to support entrepreneurs, empower women and enhance the public services available to people with special needs.
Hanouf is the Entrepreneurs Selection and Growth Manager at Endeavor Saudi, where She identifies, helps selecting high-impact entrepreneurs and supports them to scale up their business. She has around 10 years of experience working in the Information Technology & Business Consulting with multinational flagship companies. Prior to joining Endeavor in 2016, Hanouf spent 2 years at Pearson Education in the United States where she was the Lead Quality Assurance Consultant for Pearson’s mega projects. She started her career at Oracle Saudi Arabia where she was the first Saudi female to join the technology consulting team. In 2009 she has been appointed as the Leader of Oracle Women Leadership program (OWL) and also has been responsible for coaching and mentoring new hires and junior staff. Hanouf received her MBA in Entrepreneurship from Suffolk University in Boston, USA. And her BSc of Computer Information Systems from Prince Sultan University in Riyadh.
Rakan is an Entrepreneurship Development expert, and activist in Saudi Arabia since 2006. He has experiences in business developing, coaching and consulting. He recently joined 500 Startups as Venture Partner to the 500 Falcons micro fund for MENA.
Prior to that, he was the founding Managing Director of the Saudi Affiliate of Endeavor, a global nonprofit that’s leading a High-Impact Entrepreneurship movement around the world. In 3 years, Endeavor Saudi Arabia grew today to more than US$ 100M in revenue from US$ 47M when selected, and thus created more than 467 new quality jobs to the Kingdom.
Since 2013, Rakan has been heading the Investment Committee at Oqal Angel Investors Group, which attracted more than 150 deals to the group’s investors, 15 of which received investments with a total of US$ 4M. He is a board member of a government fund and has been a judge in many entrepreneurship and startup competitions, like Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, ArabNet and Startup Weekends.

In addition, he worked as the Accelerators Manager at Qotuf where he was responsible of managing Flat6Labs Jeddah accelerator. In this program, startups get to fast-track their growth and development through obtaining financial & professional support throughout the acceleration program
Marwan was involved in various consulting projects, throughout his experience, where he has contributed to numerous merger and acquisition operations and has helped in formulating many governmental infrastructure projects with the Saudi Ministry of Labor. Furthermore, he has audited the financials of multiple Saudi and international corporations in different industries during his time in one of the “Big Four”
