Marketing and business development specialist, and a current faculty member in the college of business administration at the University of Prince Mugrin. Prior to joining UPM, I worked as a startup and small business adviser in San Francisco, United States and consulted for well established bay area companies such as Pete's Coffee. I won 2 startup weekend competitions in San Francisco, and created an online business venture (Swapper). I also worked with Injaz Saudi Arabia organization as a trainer and business mentor for The Company program, and headed the college enterprise project at The Oxford Partnership college in Madinah. I have experience in management and service/sales training, and a diverse experience with managing marketing channels including social media, digital marketing and public relations in both Saudi Arabia and the United States. I'm also very interested in CSR, social entrepreneurship and volunteering services. I have a Master's degree in Business Administration with marketing concentration from the University of San Francisco (Forbes Top 20 in entrepreneurship).

Dr. Alghamdi currently leads the innovation and entrepreneurship related initiatives at Taibh University. Prior to joining Taibh University, he was also leading some of the entrepreneurship initiatives at KFUPM in Dhahran.
He received his PhD in 2012 from the McGill University in Canada. His PhD research focuses on power management solutions for portable electronics.
He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (with honors) in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia, in 2001 and 2004, respectively.
In 2001, Dr. Alghamdi joined the Electrical Engineering Department at KFUPM as a Graduate Assistant, where he is currently an Assistant Professor (as of July 2012). He was a teaching assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McGill University from Jan 2009 to Aug 2011.
