Seen – the first letter of its owner, illustrator and designer Sarah Mousa Al-Ghamdi – is a local stationery and gift brand with an Arabic style and colorful graphics. Seen was launched in Saudi Arabia in late 2012. Sarah worked in the design and creativity field for more than a decade before establishing Seen with a strong desire to change the stationery sector in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, as she was frustrated by the lack of beautiful stationery from local libraries that suits the tastes and interests of girls and women. Sarah draws her inspiration from local heritage, and mixes it with a colorful modern touch, transforming small elements from the local environment into vibrant drawings, and the Seen team transforms these drawings into designs and patterns. Sarah’s drawings have formed Seen’s own identity.
