I spent the past nine years investing in my professional development and gaining leadership and commercial experience. Now, I would like to spend my next career journey in helping a growth-focused Saudi business grow and achieve remarkable success. I seek a leadership role in shaping the venture strategy, internally by working on people, organization and capability building as well as externally on competitive and market-winning analyses and actions. I started my career, in 2010, in HR strategy and planning at the corporate-level for Saudi Aramco, where I gained analytical skills and experience. I then had the opportunity to work across many organization/people management departments in Aramco. Later, I lead analyses and advisory work for the company and its board on workforce compensation, benefits and other HR financial obligations and programs, for the company core business, as well as for JVs, affiliates, and M&As;. The two-year intensive MBA program at Harvard gave me deep understanding and skills across many business areas, especially in strategy and competitive analysis, leadership and global markets dynamics. In 2017, I decided to accelerate my career development and growth and gain accountability and decision making experience and exposure. I joined Careem, as a GM, in a leadership position with P&L and team responsibility. A year ago, I found an opportunity in Sarahah (sarahah.com), the internet startup, to help build a Saudi global internet venture with hundreds of millions of users. I focused on building the business. As a partner responsible for all commercial, financial and organizational work, I gained firsthand experience in starting a business and overcoming its challenges. I am eager to take on a leadership role to shape the strategy of a growth-focused Saudi business and support it to grow and achieve remarkable success.

Nora is currently leading the International Strategic Partnerships team at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) in addition to her role as Vice President of the Social Responsibility Committee. Prior to joining SIDF, Nora worked at Aramco handling various responsibilities and projects related to New Business Development, Business Planning, Corporate Strategy and Performance Management.

Nora is very passionate about developing the SME ecosystem in Saudi Arabia by advising entrepreneurs in order to explore growth opportunities, address problem areas in businesses and help establish a clear vision of how to get ahead. Furthermore, she has experience in originating joint ventures between leading international companies, initiating and maintaining strategic international partnerships, mergers and acquisitions as well as driving and enabling innovation as she led the an innovation committee during her service at Aramco previously.

Nora also participated in executive education and professional development programs at recognized institutions such as Stanford University.
