Ms. Al Besher conceived of FinTech Saudi while following an impressive career path has led her to such roles as leader of a Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) program to develop Saudi expertise in information security, Human Resources and Administration Director of SADAD Payment Systems and, finally, member of the FinTech Committee at SAMA.
She has shepherded FinTech Saudi from initial conception to full reality, managing the approvals process, designing the event with a well-defined and focused scope of activity and building a team to bring the event to full fruition.
Ms. Al Besher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, a Master’s Degree in Management from The Catholic University of America and she was a participant in the Executive Program in Management & Leadership at London Business School.
Dr. Fahad is a Senior Consultant in CyberSecurity/Assurance, Digital Innovation and blockchain Technologies. Over the past 12 years, he has participated & been hired as a senior consultant and project manager at several firms and governmental agencies. The combination resulted in expertise not limited to: 1) Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship, 2) Blockchain Technologies & Services, 3) IT Governance & Compliance, and 4) CyberSecurity Management & Operations. He, also, serves as an active researcher & Assistant Professor at the College of Computer and Information Technology at Shaqra University (SU). Dr. Alruwaili teaches bachelor degree courses in computer science and network engineering, as well as supervises graduation and research projects in cybersecurity, digital transformation, cloud computing, & risk management. He has been with SU since 2012 & achieved his doctoral degree in computer engineering specialized in cloud security, privacy, and compliance, early 2016. Dr. Fahad is available for mentoring, advisory & consulting opportunities.

يشغل علاء حاليا منصب مدير عام الاستثمارات في شركة الملز المالية. علاء من خريجي جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن في تخصّص المحاسبة لسنة 1997م. وعمل بعد تخرجه في التدقيق المحاسبي وإدارة خدمات الإقراض والتسهيلات البنكية. وبعد اتمامه للماجستير في ادارة الأعمال من جامعة لانكستر، انتقل للعمل في قسم الخدمات الخاصة وإدارة الثروات، وهناك حصل على إجازة تقديم خدمة التخطيط المالي للأفراد من مؤسسة النقد العربي السعودي. وعمل أيضا كنائب للرئيس في مؤسسة استثمارية اقليمية في مجال إدارة الاستثمارات. وعمل كذلك في مناصب قياديّة لإنشاء وإدارة شركات استثمار مُتخصّص. وشملت خبراته العملية أيضا العمل لدى الشركات العائلية فيما يخص تطوير أعمالها ومعالجة أو تجنّب مشكلات التوريث وتطبيق نظم الحوكمة. قبل تفرّغه كمستشار للأعمال والماليّة لمدة عامين، عمل علاء أيضا في احدى أكبر الشركات العالمية المتخصّصة بالتدقيق والاستشارات كرئيس لتطوير الأعمال في المملكة. منحته وزارة التجارة في كل من المملكة العربية السعودية ومملكة البحرين ترخيص مزاولة مهنة الاستشارات الإدارية والمالية. وهو أول سعودي يحصل على إجازة في توجيه مجالس الإدارة وتحسين أدائها من معهد المُديرين في المملكة المتحدة والذي ينتسب له أيضا كممثلاً لبلده. يُخصّص علاء أيضا جزء كبير من اهتمامه في مجالات ريادة الأعمال وخدمة المجتمع وتمكين المرأة وتحسين خدمات ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وكذلك اقتراح المبادرات الوطنية الداعية لتعزيز المناخ الاستثماري في الدولة وتفعيل الحوكمة الرشيدة وحماية المستثمرين.
